Face of Yahwe Spiritual Home and Redemption Centre was the place to be on Mandela Day, the 18th of July 2023 in Mmotong GA Ranoto stand NO 100. The community flooded in with work-suits and revolutionary regalier to commemorate the past life of revolutionary Doctor Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. Every attendee was eager to participate in the 67 minutes of charitable work which represented 67 years of service to humanity and Ubuntu Dr Nelson Mandela shared.
The event was aimed at Restoring hope and human dignity, to give our community and the homeless a a decent meal and blankets to keep warm in winter. To provide victims of substance abuse a sense of belonging by interacting with them. And most importantly to position Face of Yahweh Spiritual Home and Rehabilitation Centre as a caring and nurturing home for the lost and poor community.
The purpose of the day was fulfillment as everyone had an opportunity to participate in the 67 minutes of service doing gardening, painting, Dancing, Poems,stage dramas and many more. The guest list was made up of the following organisations and representives: Ward Coucilor 16, Mr Baloyi of Mmotong, Chair person of ANC Woman's leaque, comrade Johanna Gaga, Moletjie Radio Station, The Ndonas of our community. Love Life, Anova Health Institute, Phuthanang CBS, Thapelo Lesedi Foundation, Banna Gopolang Gabedi center and Community Policing Forum. Food were served with drinks. Donations of clothes for our victims were also offered to our victims of substance abuse. One of the inspiring closing qoutes from Our Ward Coucilor was "Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings," . As he quoted Dr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
